CALLUM Fitzpatrick 13th, and Phillip Hayton 15th, were Lancashire's first two counters as the County's under 13's won team bronze at the UK Inter Counties Cross Country Championships at Wollaton Park in Nottingham.
Phillip, from Burnley, was back to his best after suffering with asthma during the recent Lancashire Schools Championship to log the same time as Hyndburn's Callum.
The under 15's finished fourth, just missing out on the medals despite fine runs by Pendle's Ben Rusius who finished 12th and Blackburn Harrier Matt Wood in 56th. Burnley's Chris Hart was 42nd in the under 17 race.
