YOUNG Keeley Bulger is hoping to run rings around the opposition when she vies for a championship spot.
The 13-year-old Broad Oak High School pupil ran in a recent inter-schools cross-country event at Heaton Park and left her rivals lagging behind.
Keeley then represented Bury Schools competition at Woodbank Park, Stockport, and managed a very respectable 4th place.
Now, the athlete hopes to clinch a top spot when she competes in the English Schools Cross-County Championships in Essex in March.
