AN 86-year-old woman has become the latest victim of drive-by handbag snatchers.
The pensioner was walking along Wellington Street in Radcliffe at 4.20pm on Thursday (Feb 7) when she was approached from behind by a man. He snatched her shopping bag and ran to a waiting red and brown saloon car.
The handbag contained personal papers and a small amount of cash.
The thief was white, aged in his late 20s and wearing dark clothing. The driver of the car is only described as a white male.
