DON'T tell Bury boss Andy Preece a certain young man will be at Gigg Lane on Saturday because eight-year-old Bury fan Dominic Wood must be the unluckiest Shakers fan alive.

After three years of supporting the club the youngster has only seen them win one game!

Dominic, who lives in Farnborough, Hampshire, only gets to see his favourite team on rare occasions, but he has still attended 18 matches since his first game, a 4-2 home defeat at the hands of Birmingham City in December 1998.

Since then it's been misery all the way and the only victory he has seen was the Port Vale game on the last day of the 1998/99 campaign -- and, as all Bury fans will tell you, that was the day they were relegated -- hardly a day for celebrating.

Dominic, who attends games with his dad and sister, is hoping his miserable record will be broken todmorrow when bottom of the table Cambridge United are the visitors.

Just don't blame Dominic if the U's win their first away match of the season!
