ON behalf of myself, my son Peter and daughter, Deborah, I would like to express our thanks to everyone who sent so many letters and cards to us as a family, and also donations to Bury Hospice, following the sudden death of my husband, Colin Caffrey, the Hospice chairman.
We have been overwhelmed by the love and support given to us at this sad time. Colin was always a special person to us, of course, but after the wonderful funeral mass at Guardian Angels RC Church, which so many attended, we realise how much he was loved and respected by the community of Bury.
I am sorry I cannot write to everyone individually but I can assure you that your thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated by the family.
