UP-and-coming unsigned Haslingden band The Flaws have won through to the finals of the national competition, YGG Unsigned 2002.
The band, all ex- Haslingden High School pupils, won a place at the semi-final at the Palace Nightclub in Levenshulme when they played to a packed house filled with their fans and celebrity guests.
Now The Flaws and two other bands will go through to the prestigious international competition to win more than £1,500 worth of prizes and will also be held at the Palace Nightclub.
The band play the final on March 14.
