IAM outraged and deeply upset by the report on my restaurant, The Lounge (LET, February 9).
Everyone who comes -- with the exception of your food critic -- thinks it's the very best: romantic, beautifully-designed and, above all, unique.
The food is top-notch, with everything cooked to order, beautifully presented and served with love and care.
Most patrons want to stay all afternoon, they love it so much, saying things like "Wow!" and "Are we still in Blackburn? I feel like I'm abroad somewhere."
I and my staff have worked so hard to create somewhere totally unique, trendy and up-to-date to bring us into the 21st century and, in one fell swoop, your critic has done the most appalling write-up on my eaterie.
May I suggest that she sticks in future to dado rails, flowery wallpaper and Brewer's Fayre-type menus?
S A MOON (owner), Hargreaves Road, Oswaldtwistle.
