MR FELLOWS (letters, February 14) is rightly concerned about a very serious subject.

I will be meeting constituents whose children are being hit by cuts in therapeutic services on Monday and seeing the chief executive of the Primary Care Trust on Thursday.

If there is a case to take to a Government which, to be fair, is investing huge new resources in developing services for children I will have no difficulty in raising the matter with health ministers.

There are few more important issues than this.

Local parents have my 100 per cent support in seeking to preserve and improve these vital services for children with disabilities.
