ATHERTON WI celebrated their 10th birthday with a hip-swinging party.
An expert in traditional Hathor Arabic dancing spoke about the origins of dances then demonstrated them at the buffet supper.
She displayed some of the highly-coloured, beautifully decorated costumes, before members, including guest adviser Sue Swain, joined in some rhythmic pelvic moves to the amusement of the audience.
