SOCIAL services chief County Councillor Chris Cheetham should go with Tony Blair to every residential home and tell the old people face to face that, after they have worked all their lives and paid all their dues, they are closing their .
I can imagine the response they would get, not just from the residents but from the staff.
A cabinet member responsible for social services and care should be intelligent, caring, motivated and determined. It is evidence that Councillor Cheetham does not have any of these requirements. The best thing he can do would be to resign.
