ROVERS fans will get the chance to see new signing Yordi at some stage during the Worthington Cup final against Tottenham on Sunday.

Boss Graeme Souness has confirmed the Spanish striker - signed on loan from Real Zaragoza until the end of the season - will get onto the turf at Cardiff.

"We will see him at some stage on Sunday," smiled the boss.

"I felt we need to strengthen that area with a different kind of player. He is mobile and bigger than the other forwards, perhaps more like an old fashioned striker.

"Maybe what we have are a bit similar with Damien Duff, Matt Jansen and Andy Cole, they are all in the same mould. Yordi will give us something a bit different."

Stig Inge Bjornebye was suffering from a flu virus but Souness confirmed that the Norweigan "will be in the squad."
