HUNDREDS of people were without electricity for over seven hours when a power cable failed in Atherton.
Residents in Linden Avenue, Lambeth Street, Liscard Street, Linton Grove and Leighton Street, were blacked out until 10pm on Thursday when the fault was rectified.
