IWAS saddened to see an item about hare coursing on TV showing two large dogs about to catch and rip to pieces a terrified hare.
Those who support this barbaric sport say the hare does not feel anything, so it does not suffer.
Apart from the fact that the hare loses its life, it would be laughable were it not so sad to assume the hare feels nothing.
Banning this cruel sport is long overdue. How can any government condone such cruelty in what is supposed to be this enlightened 21st century.
