AFTER spending two years studying floristry at college, two friends have gone into business.
Cheryl Kershaw, aged 36, and Janette Morgan-Allison, 30, met at Newton College where they hatched a plan which is now up and running in the form of their own florist shop.
'Flowers To Go...' on Manchester Road, Leigh, opened last week and aims to provide both traditional and modern floral arrangements with emphasis on quality and value for money.
Janette, of Grosvenor Avenue in Warrington, said: "It has been really hard work, but now I'm looking forward to meeting our customers and developing the business."
"Our feedback has shown there is a real need for a local florist in the area," added partner, Cheryl, of Alderley Lane, Leigh. For deliveries call 01942 678020.
