TALENTED young actors from the St Ambrose Players, based in Moss Lane, Leyland, have received their annual awards.
For their work in plays, Joanne Duckworth was named best actress; Kath Creer, best supporting actress; Colin Woods received best actor; and Steve Barnes best supporting actor.
And for musical productions, Hilary Cookson was named best actress in a musical; Tricia Connor best supporting actress; John Sangster best actor; and George Birkin best supporting actor.
Bryn Thompson was named as the most memorable performance for his portrayal as Oliver and the best production of 2001 was Oliver.
