GLAMOROUS Leyland pensioners are being invited to dust off their dancing shoes for a special competition.
The YOURS magazine Silver Stars Talent Contest is searching for Leyland's top performing pensioner at the local heat on Thursday, April 4, at the Marsden Theatre, Worden Arts Centre, Worden park, Leyland, from 7.30pm.
The winner will go forward to the North West Area Final at the Floral Hall, Southport on May 29.
Winners from each area final will then perform in front of a 2,000-strong audience at the Grand Final on July 24 at Southport's Apollo Theatre. The overall champion will receive £1,000 in prize money.
