ISEE there is a house empty down south, which I, among others, have helped to pay for.

It has got three bedrooms, five guest rooms and 19 servants' rooms. Yes, that's right -- 19.

It belonged to a 70-odd-year-old divorce who spent most of her winters lazing in the sun on a Caribbean island called 'Mustique.'

I wonder what wonderful solution will be thought up to fill this marvellous hall of residence.

Perhaps it can be used as a timeshare for all of us who chipped in uncomplaining towards its upkeep -- just a few million quid: nothing really for the value-for-money-it has given us. Huh! Perhaps readers can come up with constructive suggestions.
