ARMED police were called to Astley Moss after a fight between two men at a farmhouse off Rindle Road.
Police said no arrests had been made nor had any complaints been lodged with them. An armed response unit raced to the scene after police were alerted.
But a Leigh police spokesman said on Monday: "Armed officers were sent as a precaution. Nobody was threatened with a firearm."
