HAPPY Families come to Waterfoot tomorrow for seven nights of laughter, tears, trials and tribulations.
John Godber's play is being performed by the Rossendale Players at the New Millennium Theatre, Burnley Road East, up to and including next Saturday (except on Monday) at 7.30pm.
On his graduation day John looks back over his teenage years and recalls the embarrassments, tensions, joys and sorrows of family life.
As he grows older and becomes better educated, he feels less and less comfortable with his working-class family who cannot understand his growing intellect and theatrical aspirations. The play is directed by NODA award-winner Carol Anne Connolly.
Tickets are £5 each (concessions £4 except for last night) from 01706 228720.
