IT would appear Councillor D Smith (Letters, April 4) has either not been reading the paper or his colleagues have kept him in the dark.
I, for one, am under the impression that the council's housing stock has been transferred to a housing association known as Twin Valley Homes and a member of that association is under the same impression. Are we wrong, Coun Smith?
A statement issued at the time that the contract for some of the council's administrative duties was awarded to Capita by his fellow councillors was the company could do them cheaper and better. Perhaps Coun Smith should be the one to check his facts.
