FANCY 518ft of family fun this summer? Blackpool Tower is billing this summer season as the best yet with an award-winning circus, big bands, ballroom and sequence dancing, the aquarium, a dinosaur ride and a new party band.

The non-animal circus has once again been voted Britain's Best Circus and this year's new acts include a high wire act, a blindfold axe-thrower, a female trapeze artist, a motorbike-riding juggler and in-line skaters -- plus a new spectacular water finale and of course Mooky, the UK Clown of the Year.

There are up to three performances daily and access is from Level 3.

New for 2002 in the ballroom is the computer-generated 3 Deck Wersi Louvre organ to compete with Phil Kelsall at the Wurlitzer from 10am to 11pm daily.

And seven nights a week from 8pm the ballroom swings to everything from Sinatra to Doris Day and Glen Miller, the Foxtrot and the Lindyhoppers. Jungle Jim's adventure playground is still on Level 5 with rope swings, ball pools, slides, scramble nets and tunnels for little ones over 90cm high.

And for the whole family, check out the Hornpipe Galley where party band Hi5 present a mix of classic pop, chart hits and comedy every day from 10am.

Chief executive of Blackpool Tower Martin Blore said: "It's a stunning line-up this year! We are re-introducing proper family entertainment and we are very proud of that.

"Our great summer season package includes Britain's Best Circus with family favourite Mooky, new events in the ballroom and a new band in the Hornpipe Galley. And it's all for just one price."

Family tickets (2 adults & 2 children) are £34 and single tickets are £7 for children/seniors and £11 for adults. Group prices available. Call Blackpool Live on (01253) 292029 for more details.
