TRAVEL and tourism students from Burnley College have raised more than £275 in a seven-mile sponsored walk.
The group, who are studying intermediate travel and tourism, handed over the cash to the Rainbow Family Trust at Francis House, Manchester.
The charity looks after chronically sick children with life limiting or threatening illnesses and relies heavily on donations from the public and volunteers to run the centre.
Trust volunteer Chris Keegan said: "The centre has an annual cost of £1.4m and only receives around four per cent from the government.
"I think the students are fantastic. It is so nice to see so many youngsters putting so much effort into helping others. The money raised goes a long way to helping and we are very grateful."
