POLICE in Burnley are to tour the town in a caravan as part of a bid to get closer to the community.
The mobile police surgeries will run from April 22 to 26 and April 29 to May 3. The venues are have yet to be decided.
Sgt Nick Hodgeson from Burnley Police said: "A number of our community beat officers are already doing that by holding police surgeries at schools and community centres, but we realise that not everyone can get to those venues which is why we have got the caravan."
A full list of the venues to be visited by the caravan will be published shortly.
