GREEN liquid oozing out of the drains in Fairfield Street, Accrington caused some concerns for local residents this morning.
But the leak was revealed to be green dye used by the council to locate drain leaks and not the feared chemical leak.
Much of the excess fluid was cleaned up by Accrington firefighters who used absorbent material to mop it up.
