A ST ANNES boy is over the moon with his prize from a Citizen competition.

Oscar Marshall was the pick of the pictures in our recent colouring competition to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Steven Spielberg's ET:The Extra Terrestrial.

And eight-year-old Oscar from Ambleside in Ansdell picked up his prize of a brand new BMX bike from Sam Taylor Cycles at Blackpool Odeon, Rigby Road, last Friday (April 5) -- plus two free tickets to see ET digitally remastered for 2002.

The Mayfield Primary School pupil said: "I've just learned to ride my bike and the one I have is too small so I need a new one. I love ET and I've got a talking one who wears a red coat so I copied him for my picture. He makes you learn.

"I really like going to the pictures and I've seen Ice Age and Jimmy Neutron already and I can't wait to see ET."

Oscar's mum and dad Sue and Richard are especially proud of artistic Oscar as he is dyslexic and dyspraxic. "He's only just learned to colour in the lines and the picture took him a whole day. He needed a new bike too so this is perfect," said Sue. "I'll probably cry again at ET as I do every time."

ET:20th anniversary is running at Blackpool Odeon daily at 6pm.
