BLACKPOOL Police are appealing for witnesses to a road accident which left a pedal cyclist seriously injured.
Lee Mark Hall, 21, of Pleasant View, Blackpool was seriously injured in a collision with a blue S-reg Jaguar saloon on the eastbound carriageway of the A583 at Westby, near Blackpool, on March 20 at 8.15pm.
Police are urging anyone who was travelling along the A583 between Peel Corner and Westby at around 7.30pm-8.15pm on that day, who may have seen Mr Hall on his black drop-handlebar bike, to get in touch.
Mr Hall was found unconscious at the scene and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital, where his condition was described as "comfortable" by a member of the hospital nursing staff yesterday (Wednesday) teatime.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "Anyone who saw the pedal cyclist or the blue Jaguar or hopefully the accident itself can contact PC Mark Lee on (01253) 293933.
