SCHOOLCHILDREN in Edgworth, Chapeltown and Belmont are to receive a lasting souvenir of the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
North Turton Parish Council is ordering 500 silhouette pattern commemorative china mugs ready for the celebrations which will take place this summer.
The council is also producing a draft annual plan in a bid to explain its work to the public more clearly. It is hoped this help the council become more efficient.
