ST JOSEPH'S Primary School received a free makeover this week thanks to Darwen-based companies Ineos Acrylics and Akzo Nobel.
Every five weeks, Ineos, of Blackburn Road, Darwen, the former ICI Perspex, takes up a challenge to improve a community facility in the town.
This time it was the turn of the school which got a lick of paint on the outside, together with some extra Perspex installed by a makeover team from Ineos.
Akzo Nobel donated the paint for the workers who were able to make good progress thanks to the dry weather.
The challenge has been organised by the Blackburn Partnership Community Involvement Scheme.
