ELKIE BROOKS has announced that she will play a summer date in Blackburn.
The chart-topping singer, who is widely recognised as being one of the most influential British female vocalists over the last 25 years, will be appearing at King George's Hall in Blackburn on Tuesday, July 30.
With hits including Pearl's The Singer and Lilac Wine, Brooks first came to fame as part of the band Vinegar Joe alongside Robert Palmer.
Tickets for July's date go on sale today.
