WELL what a day last Saturday turned out to be! With Etuhu reinstated in the side and Ainsworth in from the start we tore Coventry to shreds.

Why oh why didn't we play this way at Barnsley in the previous game?

If we had the play-offs would be there for the taking. As it is we need others to fail while we win both our remaining games, not impossible if we can keep the players in the kind of mood they were in last weekend.

While not being totally convinced that Kelham is the right man for the manager's job on a permanent basis, we do agree that he has made two very good signings and the present squad of players seem happy enough with him in charge.

Another significant point comes from the style of play.

Since the change in leadership we seem to be putting over much more 'telling' crosses into the penalty box.

Whereas before we would put in high lobbed crosses for the 'keeper to gather up easily, we now whip over much lower crosses with pace, thus creating havoc in the opposition defence.

All four goals against Coventry came from accurate centres, the last two in particular being very impressive.

Richard Cresswell collected his PSG Player of the Season award in front of a packed Canterbury Hall crowd on Saturday night. The Fans' Night Out in aid of Ryan Kidd's Testimonial was a huge success. Thanks to everyone who attended.

A special thanks here to the players Keano, Tepi, Lee Cartwright, Paul McKenna and Richard Cresswell, also ex-player Graham Atkinson and youth coach Simon Davey, who gave up their time to be with us on the night.

And of course thanks to Ryan Kidd.
