A HEAD teacher reached the end of 12 'wonderful' years in her post.
Lila Towers, who retires from Walshaw High School, Burnley, said: "Walshaw is a successful flourishing school and I'm proud to have been here.
"I've got a great staff team and I'm going to miss them all. It's been a wonderful 12 years.
Lila, who lives in Rochdale, spent nine and a half years as deputy head at a school in Dewsbury before coming to Walshaw and started her teaching career in Cumbria.
