STANLEY suffered their heaviest defeat of the season as Worksop got their revenge for a 5-0 thumping by the Reds in October.
John Coleman's side slipped to their third loss in a row following their 1-0 defeat to Bradford in the UniBond League Cup final and two Premier defeats - and they haven't scored a goal in those three games.
Martin Diggle gave the home side the lead in the sixth minute and Andy Todd added a second on 26 minutes to make it 2-0 at the break.
Former Burnley manager Chris Waddle started for the Tigers but was substituted before half time after picking up a knock.
The Reds were without captain Peter Cavangh and midfielder Dave Robinson who were both unavailable due to work commitments and Paul Mullin was also missing after
picking up a knock on the 1-0 loss to Emley on Saturday.
But Lutel James did return following a three game suspension.
But it was a lacklustre performance from Stanley who went further behind nine minutes into the second half through Andy Gray.
Carl Smith made it 4-0 in the 77th minute before substitute Adam March completed the rout with a goal in injury time.
The Reds will hope to bounce back when they welcome Runcorn to the Crown Ground on Saturday as they warm-up for their Lancashire Marsden Cup final against Barrow at Morecambe FC next Wednesday.
