STEVE Orrell scored an 85th minute winner to give NWCL Division One side Ramsbottom all three points against Woodley Sports.
The Rams bounced back from a 4-1 loss to Fleetwood - their first defeat in eight games - with a hard-fought win.
NWCL Division One Division Two champions Stand drew 1-1 with second placed Alsager.
Carl Bayley had given Alsager the lead on 23 minutes before Stand drew level thanks to an own goal on 65.
NWCL Division One side Clitheroe were without a game this weekend as were Darwen and Nelson in Division Two.
