AN 89-year-old woman suffered injuries to her face, arms and legs when she was attacked in her own home during a burglary.
The woman answered the door at her home in Ainsworth to a white man in his 20s who pushed past her at about 2.45pm on Monday.
During the burglary, the pensioner was assaulted and is still in hospital. Officers want to trace two men believed to be in the area at the time of the incident knocking on doors looking for building work.
