A SPECIAL symposium to create a vision for Bury town centre is to be staged next week.
The workshop will be held at the Village Hotel, Heap Bridge, next Tuesday (May 7).
Key businesses will be brought together as part of the process to develop a Town Centre Partnership.
Delegates attending will be given an opportunity to have a say in the creation of a vision for the town centre and to raise relevant issues.
Two key topics certain to come under discussion are marketing and promotion of the town centre and improved security for all businesses.
At the helm of the symposium, to be held between 9.30am and 4pm, will be Chris Hollins, consultant for Boots and vice chairman of the Association of Town Centre Management.
