THE idea of Bury Metro giving £50,000 to Bury Football club as shirt sponsors is unforgiveable.
In our area we have many outstanding issues that £50,000 could put right and no doubt there will be numerous other places where residents feel just the same.
So I would suggest to Councillor John Byrne that he gets his priorities right and stops wasting that kind of money. Anyway, what gives the local authority the right to waste our money on trying to save Bury FC? They should consult the people first.
