A MAN has appeared before Blackburn magistrates, charged with indecently assaulting two eight-year-old girls as they played in Corporation Park.
Ansar Ali, 23, of Taunton Road, Blackburn, was ordered to stand trial at Preston Crown Court on two charges of indecent assault on May 29.
The case was adjourned until August 5 for the preparation of pre-sentence reports.
Ali was remanded on bail on condition that he lives at an address in Darwen and does not go within 800m of Corporation Park -- an exclusion zone which includes the girls' homes.
