A 39-year-old Darwen man has appeared in court charged in connection with a major police anti-drugs operation in the town which was code named Connecticut.
Enrico Mazzafiore, of Belgrave Road, Darwen, is charged with conspiracy to supply ecstasy, amphetamine and cannabis, possession of amphetamine with intent to supply and possession of cannabis. He was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court where other people charged in connection with the same drugs investigation are currently awaiting sentence and trial. He will appear in Crown Court on June 19.
