TONIGHT sees the fusion of two local bands in one breathtaking concert.
Tyldesley Band will perform alongside Fred Longworth Community Brass Band in the Last Night of the Proms from 7.30pm, Thursday.
As well as being a celebration of the Queen's Golden Jubilee year the concert, which will be held at Tyldesley Rugby Club in Astley Street, will commemorate Tyldesley Band's 125th anniversary.
As part of Tyldesley Festival Fred Longworth Community Brass Band also have a performance lined up for the Printshop Lane school's arts evening next Wednesday, June 19.
The community band will be in concert with Greater Manchester Police Band on July 6 and the following day will appear at Garrett Hall fun day.
