Darwen hope to continue their excellent league form when they take on local rivals Chorley at Birch Hall on Saturday. Darwen along with Morecambe and Netherfield have created a gap between them and the rest of the table. Morecambe take on Netherfield next week so a win for Darwen tomorrow is imperative.
One man looking forward to the game tomorrow is Darwen's all time leading runscorer Graeme Ainslie. 'We always enjoy taking on Chorley at Birch Hall and our record against them in recent years has been excellent. It won't be the same without Roland Horridge being part of the Chorley team but we will all be giving 110%' said the veteran batsman and off spinner.
