THE FATHER of a missing Oxford teenager who could have headed to Blackpool has made a public plea for her to come home.

Mark Andrews said he was "very worried" about his 13-year-old daughter Louise Marie Andrews, who may have met up with a man she met through the internet and travelled to the resort.

Mr Andrews said: "We just want her to come home. She is not in any trouble at all. We want to sort out whatever problems she has had at school and any other problems she is facing.

"We love her very much and are very worried about her."

Louise was last seen by her parents at her home in Hawksmoor Road, Cutteslowe on May 25. She had told them she was going to spend the night at a friend's house, but did not do so, and according to police she may have met up with a man she met in an internet chatroom.

WPC Avril Smith, Oxford Police's missing persons co-ordinator, said: "We are really worried about Louise. Obviously she is very young, she is a vulnerable girl and she may be mixing with older men who she doesn't know very well.

"We want to stress that she is not in trouble but we do want to know where she is and bring her home as soon as possible."

Louise is known to have made two calls home since going missing, but both times the number she was calling from was withheld. According to Lancashire Police, Louise had said she was not coming home in one of the calls.

It is also understood she had told her parents in one call that she was in the Blackpool area.

She was found in the resort once before when she ran away from home in April after problems at school.

Police described Louise as 4ft 11ins tall, slim and petite with long brown hair and brown eyes.

Oxford Police appealed for anyone with information on her whereabouts to get in touch on 01865 266333 or phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
