FULL-TIME: Eng. 3-0 Den. England are through to the quarter-finals with a resounding victory.

14:17: Last minute of the game and Eng. are 3-0 up and running down the clock looking forward to a quarter-final game on Friday with a 7.30am (BST) KO.

14:13: Into the last five minutes and Ferdinand takes a long ball on his chest and turns it back to Seaman.

14:11: Claus Jensen gets a shot away that Seaman flicks over the bar to safety.

14:09: Ten minutes to go and the game has slipped into a bit of a practice match. The chance for Denmark's Ebbe Sand when the score was 2-0 was a key moment and the Danes didn't really recover from the early England goal.

14:05: England are controlling the game and look a confident outfit, this World Cup offers the players a real chance to go on and make a name for itself.

14:02: With fifteen minutes to go Eng. 3-0 Den. thoughts are already drifting to a possible quarter-final against Brazil on Friday.

13:57: Sinclair gets onto a hanging cross but his header flies over the bar.

13:55: Heskey is brought off for Sheringham for his 50th cap.

13:55: England have taken their foot off the gas and the Danes are getting a couple of sights on goal, it is vital that Eng. keep pocession and make the Danish mid-field do the running.

13:50: Dyer is seeing plenty of the ball and Eng. are keeping the Danes at arms length.

13:47: Niclas Jensen gets shot on target that Seaman spills but Campbell gets it away.

13:45: Nothing comes of the corner. Den. bring off Tofting to be replaced by Charlton's, and one-time Bolton favourite, Claus Jensen.

13:44: A stunning shot from Beckham was bang on target put Sorensen flips the ball over for a corner.

13:41: It's a very strange start to the opening ten minutes with neither team really willing to stretch the play.

13:40: A long ball from Seaman is flicked on by Heskey but Fowler is half a yard away from the ball.

13:38: Mills gets a yellow card following a silly challenge after being fouled in the first-place.

13:37: It looks as if Dyer is sitting in the middle of mid-field.

13:35: Another substitution by Eng. sees Scholes come off to be replaced by Dyer.

13:34: Start of the second half sees Rpbbie Fowler on for Michael Owen. Heskey gets away down the right and his ball across is met by Fowler but cleared by Bogelund.

13:17: HALF-TIME: Eng. 3-0 Den. A dream half for England and the team have a real chance to advance into the quarter finals.

13:16: A 40-yard shot is sent in on Seaman's goal by Gravesen and is flipped over the bar.

13:15: One minute of over-time.

13:15: GOAL - Eng. 3-0 Den. Heskey picks up a pass from Beckham and his pass is slammed home from the edge of the box and hits it well under the body of Sorensen.

13:13: Three minutes left of the first 45 and Eng. have had couple of scarey moments as a warning.

13:10: Five minutes to go in the first half and Eng. need to hold onto this lead and go in with a two goal advantage.

13:09: A corner to Denmark will be taken by Gravesen and the referee blows for a foul on Heskey.

13:07: A lovely 50-yard ball out to Mills from Beckham sees the Leeds man closed down.

13:05: Heavy rain is pouring down now and the tackles are going in slick and sharp.

13:03: Beckham gets away down the right and gets the ball into the box but Heskey can't get a clean touch on the cross and Sorensen collects.

13:02: Eng. are allowing the Danish mid-field plenty of the ball in the middle third, and still picking off the ball when needed.

13:00: Thirty minutes gone Eng. 2-0 Den. Can England build on this position and get themselves into the quarter-finals?

12:58: Gravesen breaks through the mid-field and passes to Ebbe Sand but his left foot shot slides wide of the post and the first real chance for the Danes.

12:54: Twenty three minutes gone and Eng. have a real chance being two goals up. Yellow card to Tofting.

12:52: GOAL - Owen picks up a loose ball in the box turns and shoots and scores, typical poachers goal. Eng. 2-0 Den.

12:51: Man. City Niclas Jensen hasn't got down the left wing is support of Gronkjaer.

12:49: Rommedahl down the right for Den. has blistering pace and Ashley Cole needs to be on his toes.

12:48: Eng. ceretainly have more pace upfront than the Danish centre-halfs.

12:47: Eng. really should be looking to push home this advantage as many Den. attacks are breaking down in mid-field giving Eng. some good ball.

12:46: Heskey gets on one of the balls over the top and gets past Laursen but he breaks into the box and Sorensen gts out to drop on the ball - Owen stands unmarked to his right.

12:44: Eng. are letting Den. have plenty of the ball in their own half but are breaking down passes and hoping to spring Owen and Heskey with passes down the channels.

12:42: The Eng. fans are cheering and singing from the stands of the 43,000 capacity Niigata stadium.

12:40: A neat move from Eng. shows a growing confidence as Beckham chips the ball to the back post but Owen can't get his foot around the ball.

12:39: Neat build-up from Den. breaks down on the edge of the Eng. box.

12:37: Sub for Denmark sees Bogelund on for Helvig at right back.

12:36: Ferdinand got on the end of a Beckham corner and his header back into the box came off Sorensen and was juggled into the net by the keeper, it may go down as an own goal.

12:34: GOAL - Eng. 1-0 Den. First corner to England is sent across by Beckham and Ferdinand gets a header at the back post and it rolls over the line.

12:33: Chelsea's Gronkjaer is playing down the left and England have lined up as expected with Heskey and Owen upfront, Scholes and Butt in the middle of mid-field.

12:31: Denmark kick-off and send the ball long into the Engkand half but Den. concede a free-kick.

12:30: The atmosphere is marvellous with a temperature of around the mid-70's, much easier than the game against Nigeria.

12:28: England are unchanged for the match, retaining Trevor Sinclair down the left and Emile Heskey up front alongside Michael Owen.

Injury doubts Jon Dahl Tomasson and Stig Tofting are fit to start for Denmark, who recall star striker Ebbe Sand and winger Jesper Gronkjaer.
