14:13: In the last five minutes and Ireland need to get he ball out to Duff more as he has shown some great touches.

14:12: Quinn gets flick-on to Keane who tries to poke the ball past the Spanish keeper but Casillas gets a challenge in and they both end up flat out in the box.

14:10: With just seven minutes to go it needs a bit of magic from the Irish to get themselves back into the game.

14:08: Connolly is on for Harte to play upfront and put three at the back.

14:06: Duff ghosts past three defenders and gets a shot in that slips inches past the post.

14:05: Harte lined it up and sends a shot in on target that hits Keane and is deflected over the bar.

14:02: Finnan and Duff are trying to get forward more down the right and the Irish need to do more of this with fifteen minutes to go.

14:00: The Spanish substitute sees Raul playing up front on his own with 18 minutes to go.

13:59: Given saves with his feet as Raul gets through the defence and clears the ball out of the Irish box.

13:56: Raul is again pulled up for off-side as he collects a pass in the middle of the box and sends it past Given, Ireland are playing a risky game.

13:55: Mendieta gets away down the left and his cross flies across and is just missed by Morientes.

13:50: Harte's shot is saved and the follow up from Kilbane is missed from six yards out.

13:34: Raul sets up Morientes in the middle of the box put Given gets out and stands tall in front of the shot and the ball is cleared.

13:00: A swinging cross from Spain is cleared at the back post by a diving Matty Holland.

12:59: Ireland are struggling to get in behind the Spanish defence, Duff has yet to see a great deal of the ball and hurt Spain.

12:55: Spain have a goal disallowed for off-side a neat one-two sees Luis Enrique send a header over Given but the flag goes up.

12:54: Raul has a one-on-one with Staunton who takes the ball off the toes of the talented striker.

12:53: 21 mins have gone and the Irish are a goal behind to a Morientes header, but they have seen plenty of the ball and Keane has had a couple of sights of goal.

12:51: Raul breaks through the middle of the Irish defence but is tracked by Staunton and Given rushes out to clear the ball.

12:32: The Irish are carrying the fight to the Spanish, Keane breaks into the box from the left and sends a curling shot to the back-post and it goes a yard wide.
