WORKERS who provided state-of-the-art beds for the plush rich side of the famous Big Brother house today made their own nominations as the nation prepared to kick one of four housemates out.

Staff at Silentnight Beds, Barnoldswick, revealed this week how they had been glued to the Channel 4 reality gameshow in a bid to spot their own handywork.

The 50-year-old company provided the mattresses for the rich side of the house, which is currently divided by bars.

Those housemates lucky enough to be on the rich side, where they have £400 a week to spend on shopping, have spent up to 10 hours in bed, with much of the programme's action centred on the bedrooms and particularly the only double bed.

The cameras have already caught PJ and Jade under the covers following a late-night drinking session, while Alex and Adele and Lee and Sophie have also been spotted tucked up together in recent weeks.

The mattresses, chosen by stylists working for production company Endemol and purchased from a House of Fraser department store in London, feature Silentnight's Miracoil technology, as tested by their famous Hippo and Duck characters. The technology means there is no roll together for people sleeping in the same bed -- however heavy they are.

But workers at the company's factory in Salterforth today revealed who they wanted out of the house and out of their beds as the four housemates prepared for the chop in the biggest eviction in the series so far.

Even Silentnight's Hippo and Duck had their votes in mind.

Duck quacked she wanted Jade out of the water because she brought shame to all ducks everywhere but Kate should win because she was the prettiest duckling.

Hippo grunted that Adele should be shown the door because she is not the sort of person to look after him properly, far too independent, and Jonny should win because he was the most canny of the blokes.

Employees had differing views on who should exit next from the Big Brother household and although Jade came out tops for the drop, a few stray votes also went the way of Adele.

And Jonny -- the likeable Geordie lad -- is the staff's favourite to win the £70,000 prize money.

There's no doubting Becky Green's addiction to the reality show, all around the customer liaison officer's computer are photographs of the Big Brother residents which she printed off the Internet.

Becky, 30, from Barnoldswick, said: "Adele should be out without a doubt because she is two-faced, scheming and evil. She plays everybody off against each other.

"Jonny deserves to win because he is cute."

Tim Hunt, 42, from Brierfield, is health and safety officer and 'Big Brother expert' according to his colleagues. He missed Wednesday night's programme so he spent his lunch time catching up with the Big Brother website. He said: "It has got to be Jade, sorry, but she is two-faced, back-stabbing, vicious and nasty. She is trouble!

"I think she has entertainment value which is why she is still there but her time is up."

He said the winner should be Alex because he is has so much front, is confident and pretty genuine.

Sarah Haslam, 26, of Barnoldswick, is a sales ledger clerk, voted Adele off because: "I just don't like her!

"I think she is sly and she is saying things behind people's backs and then denying she said it. She says she hates Jonny but she is up all night talking to him making puppets.

"I think Jonny or Kate should win because they make me laugh. Together with PJ they are the most genuine."

Marketing manager Kate Hardcastle, 26, from Halifax, opted to give Adele the boot.

She said: "I think Jade should be left in so she has to make it on her own for the next few weeks.

"I think Jade is back-stabbing but if she is out now a lot of people might stop watching because she adds a bit of colour.

"Kate should win because she is the 'most normal'."

Senior finance clerk Kimberley Lee, 34, of Barnoldswick, never misses an episode, and if she's out records it.

She said: "Jade should go because I am sick of listening to her whingeing and back stabbing.

"She is playing everybody off against each other so they end up voting against each other. Her voice and everything about her just annoys me."

Kimberley picked Jonny as her winner because he is the most genuine, followed by Kate.

Finance director Andrew Whitworth, 44, of Harrogate, made pig noises as he said: "I would vote Jade off. Every night after watching Big Brother I watch Graham Norton and he is always referring to her piggish qualities.

"She is two-faced to everyone and although it has been obvious to the viewers the housemates are only just beginning to realise it for themselves.

"I actually feel sorry for her though because when she has to leave the house she will have a difficult time outside. Her 15 minutes of fame will have been for a lot longer."

Andrew said Adele or Kate should win because they are 'reasonably normal and balanced individuals'.
