CHANGING rooms in Bullough Park, Accrington, were set on fire last night, destroying part of the building on Willows Lane.
Fire crews were called at 8pm and had to sledge hammer a hole in a wall to tackle the blaze.
Sub Officer Mark Egan said: "The building was well alight but there was no other way of getting in. It appears that ventilation blocks in the boiler room were kicked in and it was set alight deliberately."
The boiler room was destroyed and other rooms smoke damaged.
