POLICE have named two men who died after their motorbike crashed into a lamp post in Blackpool on Friday.
William Knox Noble, 22, of Sherbourne Road, North Shore died at the scene after the Honda 400cc motorbike he was driving collided with a lamp post near the junction of Devonshire Road and Claremont Road at 12.30pm on Friday.
His pillion passenger Brett James Groves, 28, of Hawthorn Road, North suffered serious injuries.
He was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital for treatment but died later the same day.
