Laura Ridley has high - and long hopes - when she competes in the British Junior Athletics Championships on Saturday.
Sixteen-year-old Laura, above, of Howick Park Close, Penwortham has been chosen to compete for England in the championships which takes place in Scotland. And if she does well there she will then compete in the European Championships.
