ROVERS are close to agreeing a deal with Souness which will keep him at the club for another three seasons.
As we reported earlier in the summer, talks have been on-going for some time between the two parties and now the club believe they are near to reaching a successful conclusion.
"The main thing is Graeme wants to stay and we want him to stay too so we hope to be able to announce something soon," said chief executive John Williams.
