FORMER Rovers defender Simon Grayson has signed for Blackpool on a free transfer.
Grayson becomes the Seasiders' first signing of the summer after putting pen to paper on a two-year deal.
He was released by Rovers at the end of last season after almost three years at Ewood Park.
The 32-year-old Yorkshireman played in the top flight for Rovers, Aston Villa and Leicester after starting his career at Leeds.
Grayson - who started training with Blackpool in the summer - has spent the majority of the last two seasons on loan at several clubs, including Sheffield Wednesday, Stockport, Notts County and Bradford City.
