TAXIS in Rossendale could have their own colour scheme if councillors at a meeting tomorrow night give the green light to a proposal.

The licensing committee will consider the adoption of a colour livery scheme for taxis.

So far the taxi association has been reluctant to support the proposal and they have yet to suggest an appropriate colour.

Councillors are being asked to determine if they still want to proceed.
